Yes, I know.. I haven't written on my "blog" for a while. I am a bad, bad person. But I only know two people that read this thing - Lillian and Grace. That's my shout out for the day.
Anyways, am now in Camarillo and will be here until mid-next week. Then I will probably be working out of the Warner Center office, which is stinkin' far from my house. Damn those gas prices! The good/bad thing is that I am next to the outlet stores. I bought these killer heels at BCBG last night ~ which should look great with a pencil skirt. Bad thing ~ I should probably be studying for the GMATs or something, and not blowing my money on frivolous items, such as shoes and purses.
So let me tell you about what I do at work. I spend HOURS trying to figure out why a number is what it is. But really, all I need to do is explain it, because in the end - it is what it is. Nothing I do will change it ~ I just need to know and document how it got there. So I look at excel spreadsheets, at 400-page legal agreements, and have long-ass discussions with the client and with seniors, so that I can document everything in one tiny, leeeetle paragraph.
OK, so I'm probably being a bit dramatic, but in the end ~ a day's worth of work will result in a 3-page memo. Sound fun?
Saturday the girls at my church are throwing a "Men's Appreciation Night." I'll give a little update once that's over.
Oh, but wait.. there's more. I forgot to tell you about my weekend. I'll make this one short, although it was a packed weekend. Drove down from Santa Barbara to Downtown at 1. Had a talk with my Performance Manager to make sure I don't get fired. Went to the Lakers/Celtics game and passed out cheer cards at the box entrance (saw Joey McIntyre - my FAVORITE NKOTB). After the game, spent 2 hours trying to find my snowboard for Saturday. Woke up at 6 am the next morning, drove to Mountain High, came back, slept, then spent the whole evening tending to my bruises (and slept 12 hours). Sunday went to church and watched a bit of the 3-on-3 tournament. Then drove back up to Santa Barbara that night. Got stuck in traffic, which was what I was trying to avoid, and ended up arriving at midnight. Go me! Looking forward to a chill weekend this time... :) posted by Kris
