See, that's the thing about ex's. You go from having a best friend to having what feels like nothing at all. And usually when you have a problem, or need someone to talk to - that would be the person you'd call. But now you can't call them --- and therein lies the vicious cycle of do i or don't i call...
I see my sis grappling with that - she doesn't have to tell me, I just know that she was having issues with her ex. Her ex, by the way, is just one big foolio. If he thinks he will ever find someone cooler, prettier, and hotter than my sister - then he's a bigger tool than I originally thought he was. Plus, if he wants to get back with her, it's about time he started acting like the man in the relationship, instead of depending on her strength to keep up the relationship. Please.
Just because a girl is independent, has strength, and doesnt' need to rely on a guy doesn't mean that she doesn't want it either. What girl doesn't want to be taken care of or be wooed? It's time than dudes started to step up.... F'em all.
On an unrelated note -- I was on the phone with a coworker, talking about one of our 'bosses' and how insigificant the 'boss' had made me feel.
