One of my best friends from high school has gotten engaged.
She's was one of two best friends that I had in HS. One was the buddy that I loved to hang out with, and the other was the one I bore my soul to (and now she's engaged!). We kinda lost touch in college, but have gotten closer the past couple years. She is engaged to her prom date. You might think it's cute, but deep down you know it's just mushy and sick. But I'm truly happy for her, because I know that this is something that she's wanted for a long time.
