I think I've given up. It's been difficult, but I think I am finally ready to let go. The most difficult part of this is the feeling of having to give up on a dear friend. I say oh well - I'm tired of feeling like I'm putting myself out there everytime, when really, in a true friendship I wouldn't/shouldn't be feeling that way. Time to start focusing on moi.
