Yesterday I was telling a friend that in July I will be going to see Wicked (at the Pantages) and attend the Sound of Music Sing-a-long concert at the Hollywood Bowl. I've even started seeing signs for the Bowl (although, I have a feeling they just might be flags that haven't been put down from last year). That got me thinking about how much I really love going to see concerts there, especially when the LA Phil starts up their summer series. There's just this uncontainable quality that the Bowl's got. You're sitting in this incredible amphitheatre, facing a beautiful stage. You instinctively inhale your surroundings - the hollywood hills, the cool summer breeze, the remnants of a picnic dinner... For lack of a better word, it truly is magical. It's one of the few So-cal summer things I look forward to.
So my coworker has gone. I thought it'd get real lonely in this office, now that I'm the only one occupying it. But it's been so busy today, I couldn't even process the fact that I was alone. Talk about busy. Probably my busiest day yet.
