Freaking annoying. Our internet has been cutting out all day. So every 10 minutes, I get a good 2-3 minutes of good internet connection. Need to make this fast.
Last night I went to go watch W. Forte perform here in LA at the Groundlings Theatre. As an SNL fan, it was pretty awesome to be seeing an SNL player out here in LA do a show. Plus, Forte is my favorite :).
Anyhoo, at one point, he was acting out him being in total desperation over a party, and I totally laughed because it was hilarious. Then he yelled in my direction, "It's not fucking funny!" It was kind of scary, mostly because I knew he was being funny, but NO ONE in the audience was laughing. So then I got all self conscious, like WTF, am I being a jerk? Looking back I know it was for comedic effect, but it definitely would have been a lot funnier if more ppl laughed.
Demitri M performed afterwards, and his stand up performance was GREAT. I'm still laughing.
Mars took me out to the Porterhouse Bistro on Friday. Really good steak. Yum.
Oh, and in other great news, I ended up with Arrested Development season 2 on Sunday, at the white elephant gift exchange. Merry Christmas to me! posted by Kris
