Yesterday Lil and I celebrated her twenty-somethingthieth birthday at Campanile on La Brea. We got our meal comped, but that was after waiting for an hour for our food. Somehow the kitchen f'ed up on our order, and we didn't end up getting served until over an hour after we had ordered. Punks.
Then afterwards, some delicious (slightly dry) cake at SLJ's on Melrose. They gave each of us a loaf of bread. Woohoo.
Lots of birthdays this month, so hope you all had a great time on your birthdays! And if I forgot to wish you a happy birthday, I'ze sorry. My memory has been shit lately, so consider yourself lucky and/or important (hm... more like lucky), if I managed to recognize it some way. posted by Kris
