Where to begin. Wed night we Creekers all got invited to watch a screening of the first cut of Georgia Rule. It was really great to see how the script translated onto the screen, and to also see the crowd reaction. Right before the film began, we saw Felicity Huffman in the seats behind us too :)
Anyway, after the movie, Anita and I headed down to Shag to check out some party that Lady Sov was supposed to be at after her concert at the El Rey. Well apparently she got sick, and after attempting to do a few songs, the gig was cancelled.
Aaaanyway. Here is a link for some of the pictures from that night. Although, I guess Anita and I did not make the cut of 'cool people that are to be featured as attendees of said party.'
I also need to give mad props to Anita for helping me get into the Best Buy Playstation 3 Launch party last night. I'll post pictures of that next time, but let me make a side note before I begin that Lil is the WORST celeb spotter-outer ever! (jk Lil, your obliviousness is definitely a good thing). Celebs that we saw: Rex Lee, Tony Hawk, Xhibit, Danny Masterson, John Cho... and some dude from the Hills (I believe his name is Brian).
Games played: Sonic the Hedgehog, a couple car racing games, and the best one of all: Guitar ROCKS!
The night got even better when we saw Scott and Slash up on stage, along with Dave Navarro, the Madden bros of Good Charlotte. We also had a good laugh when we saw Mark McGrath take the stage.
After some free food, drinks, game playing and rock band watching, we called it a night, and headed out. Oh and props to Joel for his DJing... we watched him for a bit which was pretty interesting too.
