This is just one of those, sorry I haven't posted in a long time, so here's something that's maybe remotely interesting that you might want to read about kind of post. (lame disclaimer)
Anyhoo, this really has been a year of kiddie shows for me. I don't know what it is, maybe I'm just trying to hold onto the kid in me, but here's a bunch of shows that I have been really digging these days...
Naruto: What is it about these kid ninjas that are trying to protect their village from the evils of their world? At first it started out as occasionally watching the cartoon with my brother, as a means to spend time with him. Now I've actually gotten to the point where I got excited when I found a free Naruto headband. Anyone with me on this?
OK, I'm guessing no.
Onto Bleach: WOH tipped me on this one, and we caught part of an episode during one of our Bu trips. I was intrigued, and moreover, I was bored one night and got sucked into the episodes. Again, what was it about this skinny orange haired high school student, battling ghostly spirits and trying to save the death god that gave him his powers? But for reals, it's good.
And of course, finally, something non-anime.... HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! I wasn't really interested in this until I saw Zac Efron in Hairspray. I thought he was super cute, and coincidentally HSM 1 was on the tube later that week. Cheesy, but there's just something about that wholesome goodness that is fun to watch. HSM 2 was even better, and I am not too embarrassed to admit that I tivo'ed that thing on it's premiere night. Watever if Leesco can have her Shia crush, I think I can have one on Zac.... And I also think that Zanessa are really cute together....
